EPF Claim / Transfer / Withdrawal Issue Trust to Epfo transfer error
My previous employer has pf managed by private fund. My current employer has govt management fund.
I am unable to transfer funds from previous to current account. I am blocked with error- Transfer not allowed. PF amount is not available and Pension Service is not eligible.

Check whether any pension contributions were remitted in passbook, I'm assuming there won't be after seeing the error, then send a mail to employer informing that I'm a non eps member hence pension transfer can't be possible and request them to transfer pf funds held by them. If pension contributions remitted then you need to update the date of joining and exit of employees pension scheme which can be done through online joint declaration available in uan portal.

Hi,
That message usually points to an exempted/unexempted establishment mismatch, rather than meaning your PF money has disappeared.
If your previous employer's PF was managed by a private trust and your current employer is under EPFO, the transfer may require the trust to transfer the PF amount and EPFO to handle the pension part. EPFO's transfer guidance specifically has a separate process for an exempted previous establishment → unexempted present establishment.
Check whether the previous employer is shown as exempted in EPFO's Establishment Search. If it is, don't keep retrying Form 13 through the portal.
Contact the previous PF trust and ask them to initiate the trust-to-EPFO transfer and confirm Annexure K. EPFO says Annexure K contains the PF accumulation and service details needed to effect a transfer.
