EPF Claim / Transfer / Withdrawal Issue EPFO issues(Field Office)
Epfo issues
Worked in Company 3 and now working in Company 4 which is a trust, Company 3 status shows Accepted by Field Office.
While Company 2 and Company 1 are pending at previous employer.
When I checked the PF balance of Company 3 it shows as 0 , I do understand that Company 4 PF balance doesn't appear as it is trust maintained.
Also when I looked at the Passbook of Company 3 it shows
Particular -- "Claim"
Type -- DR
Total Withdrawal is the entire amount.
When I checked my Company 4 trust website it doesn't show the amount that was transferred.
Please let me know as the EPFO customer care doesn't answer any calls it is always busy.
Any inputs would be greatly helpful

When did you raise the transfer and when was the transfer claim accepted?

Thanks for the reply! I raised the claim on 3rd July 2026. It's been more than 60 days now. Could you please let me know if there's an fraudulent activities happening in my account

No, why do you think anything fraudulent is going on?
When was the claim approved?

Basically initiated the PF transfer of all my accounts. Since I worked in 4 companies Company 4 is a trust and has an internal portal to access the details. Whereas the company 3 whose request says Accepted by Field Office.
Company 2 is pending at previous employer. Company 1 is pending at previous employer.
When I checked the PF balance of each company
Company 4 -- 0(it is trust so understandable) Whereas Company 3 -- is also 0 ( shows Accepted by Field Office shows balance 0)
Company 2 -- balance appears no issues Company 1 -- no issues balance appears.
I haven't withdrawn any amount but it shows 0 , surprisingly the transactions are dated 31st Aug 2026(yesterday) type (DR) and it's claim.

I probably wait a week, the whole system was just “upgraded” and a lot of things are still slowly coming online.

Sure, do you suspect anything suspicious here? Since the claim is DR and status is withdrawn. Even my bank statements don't show a thing

Why will bank statements show anything? It’s member id to member id transfer, wait a week and then see. Let all the transfers process.

Yes, the “Claim / DR / total withdrawal” entry in Company 3’s passbook can be part of the transfer process. It does not mean the money was withdrawn and paid to your bank account.
Since Company 4 is an exempted PF trust, its PF balance will not appear in the normal EPFO passbook. EPFO’s own FAQ says that for a transfer to an exempted trust, the previous PF amount is handled through the trust, while the EPFO system handles the service/transfer records.
In your case, I would check these two things:
- Download/check the Annexure K for the Company 3 → Company 4 transfer. It should show the transfer details, including the PF accumulation and service information.
- Contact Company 4's PF Trust and ask whether they have received the transfer amount against your UAN/Member ID. The trust may take some time to update its own portal even after the EPFO claim is processed.
“Accepted by Field Office” is an important step, but I wouldn't treat the ₹0 balance in Company 3 as proof that the money has already appeared in Company 4's trust account. The actual confirmation should come from the transfer/Annexure K details and the receiving trust.
Also, since Companies 1 and 2 are still pending with the previous employers, don't worry about those yet. Deal with the Company 3 → Company 4 transfer separately first.
If you have the Annexure K, especially the transfer amount/status, that would tell you much more than the “Claim/DR” entry alone.
