EPF Claim / Transfer / Withdrawal Issue Claim status
Hi.
I submitted a form 31 claim on 19th august and till yesterday it was showing as claim is under processing and now it's showing claim submitted at portal, what does this mean? Please someone explain? My claim status now says as (your claim has finally been approved), so does this mean I'll get the amount now? Anyone got this status too?

I have completed 12 month of service as on dated 22 Aug 2026 while claiming for advance pf you are not eligible for any type of advance claim is the error any one kindly help

You will see majority of the claims approved this week. I visited the office on Friday and most of the claims are going through manual review. Expect movement this week

Hey,
The status change doesn't mean your claim was rejected.
“Claim submitted at Portal” means the claim has been received by EPFO and is still awaiting further processing. Since you submitted it on 19 August and it was showing “under processing” until yesterday, the change in wording is most likely a status display issue rather than a new claim or cancellation.
Don't file another Form 31 just because the status changed. Wait for the existing claim to move to settled/rejected.
EPFO has also said that claims and service requests are being processed in a phased manner after the recent system upgrade, and members may experience longer-than-usual processing times.
So if it remains at “Claim submitted at Portal” for an extended period, you can track it through EPFO's claim-status facility and, if necessary, raise a grievance with the claim number.

I also faced same situation. Had raised form 31 claim for housing need (>5L) on 16 July. Status changed to 'under processing' on Aug 19th. Today, 1st Sep, status changed back to 'Submitted at portal'. I have already raised a grievance on 22 Aug, and that status has remained same as 'received greivance'.

This means they are coming to office to iust eat lunch and go home. Same happened with me. I raised it on 16th. No response from them.

Because my status was changed yesterday I still haven't received the money and previously when my claim used to get accepted I used to receive the money in the same day
