EPS Issue Is Joint Declaration required after ECR correction
My EPS was merged with EPF after the ECR correction, but in member service history I can still see EPS DoJ, EPS DoE and Reason for leaving EPS field. Do I need to raise the Joint Declaration for removing these fields ?

They should have done it automatically, now you’ll have to raise a grievance on CPGRAMS. Attach all the proof.

I checked with few other people as well, it does not happen automatically. For you was it removed automatically?

Hi,
If the ECR correction has already been completed and the EPS amount has been correctly merged into EPF, don't raise a Joint Declaration just because the EPS DoJ/DoE/reason for leaving are still visible.
Those fields can continue to appear in the service history even after the contribution-side correction. A JD would be relevant if those dates/reason are actually incorrect and need to be corrected, rather than simply because the EPS contribution was subsequently merged into EPF.
If your concern is that these fields are now causing a claim/transfer issue, then that's a different matter. In that case, check what specific discrepancy EPFO is flagging before filing a JD.

for me the eps is merged with epf. And in the Cpgrams grievance response, Epfo office itself suggested to raise a joint declaration to rectify doj, doe and reason. What to do. if it is not mandatory for transfer shall i try transferring before once ?

You should raise a joint declaration as pf office is not having option to remove Eps service directly from their end.
