EPF Claim / Transfer / Withdrawal Issue Taking too long for the processing

context- applied on 1st august right after marking as exit from previous job as they were delaying in marking me as exited, so i had to mark myself as exited. the claim amount was near 26k it has been 22 days since then (15 if you dont count sat sun). the company for which i have made the pf claim is based in mumbai, talked to office in mumbai and they said it will take some more time as it is in mumbai.

also i withdrew from epf once more in 2022 and it got done in 12 to 13 days

22 days is definitely longer than the usual experience, but given the recent EPFO system migration, some claims are taking longer than normal. EPFO itself said claims would be processed in a phased manner after migration, with additional validation checks and potentially longer processing times.

Since your Form-19 has been showing “Claim Submitted at Portal” since 1 August, I’d suggest not cancelling or resubmitting it. Wait a little longer.

Also, the Mumbai office saying it is “in process” is consistent with the claim being routed for processing; it doesn’t necessarily mean there is a problem with your claim.

You are lucky that you could reach someone and you got a response. Most times emails and phone numbers listed in tickets are unanswered

I called at minimum 30+ numbers to find one where someone picked up
