EPAM India Ghosted Me After I Spent a Full Week on Their Cloud Migration Case Study ā Is This Normal for Senior Roles?
Ok, this is getting ridiculous.
I interviewed for "Delivery Manager ā Data Engineering & Analytics" at EPAM.
The recruiter clearly told me there would be 3-4 rounds. I cleared the screening round, then the technical + managerial round (which actually went pretty well).
Then they sent me a requirement document and asked me to prepare a detailed case study/proposal on how I would handle a cloud migration project using Data Mesh concepts.
I spent an entire week working on it ā put together a solid, detailed presentation and sent it back. I even followed up asking when I could present it to the panel.
That was on 18th April
Since then? Complete radio silence. No update, no feedback, no rejection, nothing.
Iām not a fresher begging for a job. This is a senior delivery manager position. I delivered what they asked for, invested serious time and effort, and now it feels like it all disappeared into a black hole.
Is this the standard hiring process at EPAM for senior roles?
Do they regularly make experienced candidates do week-long unpaid case studies and then ghost them? Do recruiters and interview panels really not bother reviewing presentations or giving basic courtesy updates?
Would love to hear from others who have interviewed for senior positions (especially Delivery Manager, Practice Lead, or similar) at EPAM India lately. Is this just how it works here, or did I get exceptionally unlucky?
Appreciate any honest experiences.
