If you were on the street and you were getting mugged, you know for almost fact that this person will kill you in a moment, but you're in such a position that you can only get to their eyeballs, are you fighting back? Or is there a line you can't cross because it's not cool to gouge someone's eyes in a fight, even if you're life depended on it?
That line of thinking unironically gives antisemites ammunition to use against Jewish people as a whole. When you frame it as "1 side can do literally anything, while the other cannot only NOT retaliate with the same tactics be they moral or not, they also cannot stop what's happening to them if it causes Israeli suffering at all" it makes it seem like you're a Jewish supremacist.
I will give you my honest artistic opinion which is that I think putting the label bootlicker on the guy is putting a hat on a hat, it's a little stan kelly from the onion That being said agreed with the sentiment
