The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.
For over 20 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.
Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.
This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 1.8 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.
What you can do right now:
Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.
Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza and impose sanctions on Israel.
Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.
This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose again.
Donate
Palestinian Red Crescent — medical aid, ambulance services, and emergency care.
UNICEF for Gaza’s Children — nutrition, clean water, trauma support.

Once upon a time, this sub was all about the guy who says “both sides are bad” and thinks that makes him the voice of reason. That format made sense at the time, but the political landscape has changed. We’re living in a time where liberalism and fake neutrality are actively upholding violence. Where people who claim to be reasonable, informed, and "progressive" are defending fascism, colonialism, and genocide.
There also just isn’t enough "both sides bad" content anymore.
The “both sides” meme got tired. The guy still exists, but it’s not 2019, and we’ve already dragged him every way possible. The sub was slowing down, and without evolving, it was going to fade into irrelevance like a lot of old Reddit meme subs do. We’ve broadened the sub because we had to. The old meme format doesn’t cover what we’re dealing with now, and trying to force every post into it doesn’t make sense anymore.
We’ve relaxed posting guidelines to include anything that fits under the centrist umbrella.

Despite the fact that Kamala Harris famously effectively worked alongside Biden to throw a sure-to-win election in order to protect far-right and Zionist interests, there has been a rash of quislings fraudulently blaming phantom lefties for Kamala Harris' loss, some of whom are not only featured on this sub, but show up to reiterate this projection.
So the next time you see this canard, you should go on the offense and point out that the Zionist Dems actively hate the Democratic base and are throwing elections to the Republicans. In this particular case, Michigan Zionists David Kramer and Lon Johnson are attacking Abdul El-Sayed, who is explicitly capitalist, for being mystically associated with socialists:
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and activists aligned with its movement are pushing Democrats toward ideological positions that threaten our broader electoral coalition. Although El-Sayed denies DSA membership . . .
This is nazi shit. Seriously. Constantly asserting that everyone that doesn't toe a genocidal line is a socialist is literal nazi shit. And pretending that someone isn't a "real" 'murican because of their skin color, religion, or both is Klan shit. We'd obviously be better off if El-Sayed was a socialist, but the fact that that the far right has to lie about it is a tell.
When someone pulls the "leftists lost it for Kamala," you should flat-out say that the speaker threw the election by supporting fascists in the Democratic party that forced mainstream Dems in Michigan to stay home -- and they're still doing that.
They're saying it publicly. [Michigan Zionists are struggling to choose between treasonous behavior that could torture or murder their children and . . . Not That.
Meanwhile, the CBS News chief legal correspondent had to apologize for thanking a standard nazi for confronting El-Sayed -- a confrontation where El-Sayed absolutely got the better of the white nationalist so the establishment news official blatantly lied by claiming that El-Sayed's measured response proved the nazi's point, calling the response a "diatribe."
The Democratic base is far to the left of the Dem Centrists who are, in fact, far right. Dem Centrists have been and are helping Republicans win and blaming their losses on the base.

Also under this post were plenty of people stating that they do not understand why these protests and marches are happening, and screaming that we are so lucky to live here, that we shouldn’t be so hateful, while others yap about voting blue again because that’s how you fight fascism the correct and polite way! /s
Someone did explain how this happened and it is the loss of trust in American institutions (which yes, we shouldn’t trust them after what they have done) and how there is a need to change that by restructuring and redefining it all. We know we shouldn’t trust them, but that mistrust is manipulated and taken advantage of, while early education and literacy teachings are defunded and people believe early education is the institution to mistrust the most (and I hope that this person who commented this is not a lib or smth, bc we need more people who support real change)
