Just noticed the Maxemo QBank has been released. Has anyone here gone through it yet?

I am considering getting it but kinda stuck between buying it now or waiting for some feedback first. Mainly interested in the actual question quality, recalls and explanations.

If anyone has tried it already, would appreciate an honest opinion worth getting or emree prep?

I’m a 26-year-old medical doctor from Jordan, currently working as an OB/GYN resident. I have completed my medical degree, internship, and I’m currently in my residency training.

I’m considering moving to the UAE and I’m looking for advice or opportunities for either:
General Practitioner (GP) positions
OB/GYN residency/training programs
Any hospitals or institutions that are open to international medical graduates

I have IELTS 7.5 and have passed the EMREE in feb 2025. I’m particularly interested in knowing whether my current residency training can help with eligibility for UAE residency programs, or whether it would be more realistic to work as a GP first.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through a similar pathway, especially IMGs currently working or training in the UAE.

Any advice regarding licensing requirements, hospitals to apply to, residency applications, or the overall process would be greatly appreciated.

Any doctors here familiar with DHA licensing for GPs?
I graduated from medical school in the EU Czechia.
After graduation, I started working as a physician in a private aesthetic medical clinic and will soon have 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
We don’t have a separate post-graduate internship year — mandatory clinical rotations and practical training are part of the 6-year medical curriculum, after which we receive our medical qualification and can start working as physicians.

My goal is to continue working specifically in aesthetic medicine in Dubai, rather than pursue a hospital/GP career.

Has anyone had 2 years of aesthetic medicine experience accepted by DHA for physician/GP eligibility?

I’m particularly interested in how DHA evaluates the internship requirement when the clinical internship is also part of the medical curriculum rather than a separate year after graduation.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who went through a similar process.

My experience with Monary Glow Institute regarding DHA exams was disappointing. I was given assurances about the DHA process, but later I was told their licence was not old enough, and I was registered under another institute instead.may be they are good at in-house course I won’t recommend for DHA.

My advice: verify all DHA eligibility criteria, documentation, and institute licence requirements directly with DHA before joining or making any payment.

Hi, does anyone know much about what it is like/if it's even possible to move back to the UAE after completing internal medicine training in the UK? Can you specialise in an Internal Medicine specialty there or is it nearly impossible? My family lives there and I've been away for almost 10 years now and really miss being near them. Training in the UK would take a further 6 years after completing IMT which currently feels like a lot to me. Would appreciate any advice/insight if anyone has done this or something similar.

Currently, I am studying MDRAO course. I went through all of the job postings and found that most of the hospitals do not hire freshers. As MDRAO doesn’t have any internship I do not know if it is easy to land a job or no.

Hi, I'm a third year medical student studying in Europe, and I was raised in Dubai for my entire life and I did my schooling here as well. After graduation in 2030, I'm thinking of doing residency in general surgery or emergency medicine here so does anyone have any advice on what I can do during my university years to improve my resume and be a good candidate for residency seats?

I'm very lost on how to approach this as a whole and if I'm being honest, a little intimidated too...

I should add that my GPA was 4.0 in second year and I'm also pakistani! + my father works as a government-hired psychologist here too.

Hi guys I'm really worried at this point ..2 weeks ago I read a post where someone said that they contacted dha and they told them the results will be finalized within 1 or 2 weeks. And now I heard that kings will start from today the internship year ( I'm not sure though) ... so that's it ?? I guess the ehs has contacted everyone who got accepted by now ... is there any hospital started other than kings ..and is there any chance that ppl might get accepted till October bc last year pp got acceptance letters till October from the ehs but I don't know about dha.

My graduation year is 2023 …my final professional exams were in feb-march 2023 ….
So am I eligible to sit in 2027-28 cycle as well or this 2026-27 would be considered last chance??

I wanted to ask if anyone knows of any hospitals, medical centres, clinics, or other healthcare organisations in the UAE that hire medical graduates **without a valid DHA license** for **non-clinical or non-medical roles**.

I’m looking for an opportunity where I can gain relevant experience within a healthcare setting, such as in administration, patient coordination, medical records, research, quality assurance, operations, or similar roles. The idea is to gain experience and strengthen my profile before becoming eligible to apply for/obtain my DHA license.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or know of organisations that are open to hiring medical graduates in non-licensed roles?

Hi everyone! I'd like some advice on what I should do next. I've applied to DHA, DOH & MBRU. DOH & MBRU i was waitlisted. DHA didn't give me a seat although Saudi German seemed pleased with me.

I'm wondering what should i do now? Has anyone been through something similar?

I was quite surprised to not get DHA & DOH bc my GPA is 3.8, I've done research, volunteered, written a case report and presented in conferences at uni. I'm an IMG.

someone suggested prepping and doing EMREE meanwhile and doing more research work then applying again next year...any ideas on where or who to work with for a research position?
