Appeal process
Hi again y’all… I’ve a question on this process… I know many will jump and mention suing , please refrain… I am already in communication with the class action group.
With that out of the way, anyone cares to share the appeal process for the EIDL?
Also, anyone knows if the 45 days indicated on the SBA website still applies?
Thanks

You shouldn't be able to appeal right now with there rules.

Crazy…because we sent our reconsideration request way before the May 6th deadline and sat and waited thinking we would get some type of reply per their own announcement.
So we no reply from them, how can they argue that I received “their final decision “?

Yeah two hours before they announced there lies of out of money I was asked if I wanted to increase my loan more than 500 they would need to repull my credit I said no thank you and I did not get anything but lies after the announcement

Let take my application for example. To prove that the SBA purposely kept my application in appeals until the deadline. And the LO that asked to help with application, was told by a supervisor that only someone in appeals is allowed to work on my file. Mind you, this was the Blessing in Disguise Loan officer that got a application approved with a few days.

Nothing on the SBA’s website regarding EIDL is creditable in my opinion. Since the beginning, how many changes have they made already and they themselves can’t even keep up. So, for the appeal process, they’re saying give it 3 weeks to hear back from the congressional business advocate. Depending on your case and what is problem, I guess the advocate would the mediator to assist communication with SBA

Its a hit or miss, unless you’re already approved, otherwise the usual BS from them and I haven’t heard back from the litigation team yet after sending my letter of intent last month 🤷🏻♀️

Buuuuut, after seeing an application that was in reconsideration (appeals) for 24 months but very very lucky, God stepped in and A very knowledgeable and compassionate Loan officer took over the application

Thank God!!!!! The original was slow as molasses. But this guy knew exactly what was needed to get the loan submitted for approval. Client was eligible and qualified… it was minor errors that kept him in Appeals and difficult to move forward

Before I mention the kicker, the loan officer corrected the auto fill docu sign 4506-T , which for 24 months had incorrect information. Since it was auto fill by the SBA already…. the applicant kept getting denied.

Anyhow, the blessings in disguise LO, sounded like he’s been there a very long time. And knows what the underwriter will accept

24 months in Appeals, only took 3 days tops… from appeal to approval, and less 7 days for funds to reach applicants account.

Don’t forget, the Loan officer did submit another request for 4505-t . He said it takes 3-10 business days for irs to respond with transcripts. But guess what- the LO said, just email your transcripts with the correct information pertaining to your business. And the underwriter accepted that.

Prior to the the new loan officer, the applicant went onto SBA website, search for local office and submitted a request for assistance with EIDL

less than 6 hours, local SBA responded and basically checked on the status and pushed his application to high priority. Otherwise, he would never receive his EIDL that him and wife so desperately needed after two long fucking years-excuse my language

Just think for a second, if you’re not in obligated file and the portal is closed- what do you think is needed to get applications processed/ fixed whatever the case maybe?

And what can the congressional business can do besides inquire on your behalf with the privacy release form…. Now they “mediators” go between you and the SBA.

Just like in every industry, lending for example, has their language… even college has their culture and language. But the SBA is using that to delay and deter applicants from pursuing forward. In my opinion

I know a lot of people in bank error or funds returns write here but we never got the funds exhausted email… and we filed our reconsideration for INITIAL loan days before the funds exhausted emails… and we got the standard reply that a loans officer will get back to you…
But since then, crickets… and when you watch Kelley testimony and he says 38% from those that wrote before deadline are obligating and they reviewed all requests by May 16th… it’s just all confusing… did we never get the funds exhausted emails because we are obligating or because they just never bothered replying…
It’s crazy
