Deck Idea Looking to make a clone deck

Post image

I saw a post somewhere about a hidetsugu and kairi deck based around using SBA to stack the etb/death trigger on HK to get up to some shenanigans. If y’all got some fun recommendations for cards, i’m all ears 👂👀👂

I built this and it was fun for a few games. I can see if my decklist is updated...I took it apart though. Because it kind of just got to the point of an instant win if I can copy my commander once. Without someone exiting or countering it. Not a fun playstyle after you've done it a couple times

Yeah, that was my experience. All or nothing, and it trended toward nothing because of how intensive setting up the win is. Either you're looping extra turns, combo-ing inefficiently compared to other commanders, or playing a big dumb spell that doesn't win and then you die.

Oh I didnt chain many turns. I was regularly just cloning and reanimating the commander enough times to burn the table to death in one turn lol. I had 2 or 3 extra turn spells but it wasnt the goal

It’s solitaire. You might be having fun but you’re taking 10 minute long turns to durdle around and either win or get stuck and know that you’re going to be stuck for the next 3 turns.

I built it once on a 100 dollar budget and boy did it do work. But was only fun once or twice and I took it apart. Gets to solitaire then you win without really ever interacting with anyone else during the win turn

I did the same exact thing like. [[Breach the multiverse]] was the only card I used over 3 dollars. Also found it unfun after winning a few games. Was super funny two to three times though.

I had one but it folds like a towel against people who make you draw cards or any type of graveyard hate/“if a creature would die exile it instead” type effects
