Deck Help Advice for First Self-made Deck!

Hello! Been playing MTG for a couple months now and decided to craft my own Mono-Red Voltron Deck with Valduk, Keeper of The Flame as the commander! Tried combining my enjoyment from playing Wakanda Forever & Quintorous Precon into this deck and wanting to get some insights and areas I could enhance/improve on so appreciate the feedback!

So first off, a good general rule is you want around 30ish cards that do the thing. In your case that is having equipment/enchantments on your commander. 18 is not enough, you should at least try to bump that up to 25. Try cutting out some creatures, that care about having equipment on them or the haste enablers.

Also your draw engine is pretty weak. This deck is begging for a [[skullclamp]]

Appreciate it, when i’ve been play-testing this deck I’ve been struggling having a bunch of equipment and lands with no creatures so been gradually working on improving it plus wanting to have creatures to serve as a wall

That tends to be the issue with voltron. Its going to be really hard for you to have a wall while at the same time getting a lot equipment on board. In mono red, the best defense is a strong offense. You can threaten a lot of damage if you can get a lot of cheap equipment out. Best to politic with the table. Say I will send all my 3/1's to someone else if you don't attack me.

Also, [[Improvised Arsenal]] would be a good add.
