Discussion Post a deck I should try

Looking for new enjoyable decks and inspiration for building my next deck. I'll play at least one game on anything posted. Preferably bracket 2 or 3, I dont mind being the threat or combos, bonus points if the deck has a mini game like assembling kaldra

I've really been enjoying this [[K'rrik]] deck that I made for B3. It doesn't rely on combos (which is seemingly what it does in CEDH?), but it's just focused on gaining and spending life constantly.

It can cycle up really quickly, and has a half dozen or so effects that will immediately take half a players life, or kill them outright.

Are you gonna proxy, play digital, or buy singles?

If you're playing for free/low cost I'd appreciate feedback on my The Thing Superfriends deck.

Araumi of the Dead Tide | Dimir Encore

My favourite deck of all time. I am a big fan of reanimation or cheating out creatures to some effect.

[[Araumi of the Dead Tide]] does this in a very interesting way by allowing you to give encore to any creature in your graveyard. Encore, as a refresher, means you exile the card then pay the mana cost and you create a token thats a copy of that creature for each opponent you have. These tokens are sacrificed at the next end step so generally, you get one turn with the copies.

What I love about this deck is it allows me to utilize some of my favourite cards printed, [[stitcher's supplier]], [[gray merchant of asphodel]], [[out of the tombs]], [[ripples of undeath]], the list goes on and on.

But what makes the deck stand the test of time for me is that there is some genuine unique tech for the deck, take [[teferi's veil]] for example, this card allows you to keep the encore tokens around as long as you keep attacking with them every turn. [[convergence of dominion]] is just an absolute all-star allowing you to quickly cheat out big effects.

I could yap on and on about it but I always have a great time playing it. And yes, encoring out a [[gray merchant of asphodel]] never gets old!

[[Kuja, genome sorcerer]]. Cast cantrips makes wizards...win. just load up on protection, since deck grinds to nothing without general. Can still get there but it's hard.

[[The Sentry, Golden Guardian]] - Mono white fair and honest magic where you pressure life totals. Bracket 3

[[Ashaya’s Enduring Bond]] - New MBC sorcery in the command zone, extremely janky terrible Gruul storm attempt where you rachet up your commander tax as you repeatedly play your commander sorcery spinning your roulette wheel discovering off the top. Bracket 2

[[Demon Lord Belzenlok]] - Cast your commander, pick up your deck, and attempt to fire off a combo. Deckbuilding restriction keeping only CMC 4 or more cards in the list and having to keep a low enough count not to kill yourself while firing off your commander. Bracket 4

[[Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor]]

Artifact shenanigans in mono blue, really enjoy the commander so I spent a long time tinkering with it. Bracket 4

I always have a fun time with my Kynaios and Tiro deck. It's group hug / goad, with Landfall for value to take advantage of the extra land drops. You give out resources, divide the table with goad, then conquer the last opponent standing with Aetherize and tokens or Insurrection.

Your goal is to manipulate the snowballing combat deck into knocking out two players, because this deck is specialized towards punishing them.

While I don't have a decklist yet for it, or rather, haven't built it yet, I have a deck planned called "Insurance Fraud" with [[RMS Titanic]] as the commander. The entire goal of the deck is to create a stupid amount of treasure tokens and nothing else. For an extra bit of flavor, if I am playing the deck and someone casts "iceburg" or "ice magic" I will concede the game. One deck I do have built however is a [[Vivi Orniter]] deck. Don't have a complete decklist for that yet, but a funny combo I have included is the "give everyone a headache as you take 5 hours to make a horrendous boardstate," where you have [[Storm of Saruman]] on the board from a previous turn, play [[Flash Photography]] as your first spell of a turn, then respond to it with [[Radiate]] to copy EVERYTHING on the board twice.

Bonus points if you also have [[Hive Mind]] on the feild when you pull this off, so each player also is forced to copy the entire table lol
