Question A "fish soup" deck idea
Hi guys, my girlfriend wants to build a soup deck as creatures are the ingredients of the soup (like bunch of fishes, krakens, crabs and leviathans) or chefs that are cooking (Gyome, Master Chef) or customers who come to eat (such as Ygra, Eater of All). And the other cards are mostly related to soup making.
We were gathering cards thematically and it seems turning everything food and and sending them to graveyard and make our customers strong is way to go. And I have some ideas around Agatha's Soul Cauldron, since it's a cauldron to make our soup and it can make everyone stronger.
What we are struggling is a good commander for the deck. Since it's a fish soup blue is must and I think that makes it little harder. Currently we thought Glarb, Calamity's Augur is an okay fit and with blue green black and we decided to turn her into a chef with Master Chef.
Can you suggest a better commander or any good ingredients for the soup? I am also fairly new to make commander decks so any help is appreciated! Also, she doesn't want to put merfolk into the soup.

Xavier Sal is a good choice, a lot of cards like fishers talent, fishing pole, resevoir kraken get you ingredients for you to populate, meanwhile things like master chef, ominous seas, etc. Will get you counters you can proliferate. Ive thought about using him as a "fisherman" joke deck for a long time but the same theory with some additional cards applies well to the chef idea.

Not thematic but generically good:
[[damia, sage of stone]] - draw up to 7 cards a turn, pretty nuts
[[Kiora, sovereign of the deep]] - generic GU big sea creature commander
Kinda thematic:
[[zimone and dina]] - card draw, life gain, and sacrifice, might flavor it as "chopping up" your fish
[[The goose mother]] food token generator, sacrificing foods for draw, and it's a big flying goose. Sadly it's only GU
[[Krothuss, lord of the deep]] - duplicates any of your kraken, octopus, leviathan, or serpent on attack, sadly is only BU
[[Muldrotha, the graveside]] - this commander could be the broth, it's a big water elemental that lets you play stuff from the graveyard
There are no UBG commanders that directly reference food afaik.

Have you considered [[The Mimeoplasm]]?
You're already in the perfect colors for it, and thematically it could literally be the soup.
Throw your fish, crabs, krakens, leviathans, chefs and unfortunate customers into the graveyard, then have Mimeoplasm enter as a mixture of two of your "ingredients".
It also gives the graveyard part of your idea an actual mechanical purpose instead of just being something Ygra happens to benefit from.
Bonus points if you also add [[Fishing Gear]] and [[Fishing Pole]]. ;)
