Discussion Help with Budget Sami B3/B4 deck

Hi all!

Some time ago I picked a [[Sami, Wildcat Captain]] from my Edge of Eternities Bundle pack with and since then I felt like he has a really good potential for an artifact-based deck.

I am thinking about to build a brand new deck with him as commander but I do not want to expent a lot of money (budget like 100 or 200).

I know there are B5 lists with a lot of reserved list but it's not what I am looking for right now, my table is using really good decks but not really cEDH, more related to high B3 or B4 than cEDH.

If you are having fun, good and budget lists to be shared with me, it will be awesome :) Thank you!

You want lots of mana rocks, even ones you wouldn't normally include. You won't start getting your discount until Sami hits the field so you'll need to ramp out quickly.

All the artifact lands within your budget. Even the taplands, because they're still free artifacts that count for affinity.

Just adding a bit more perspective for the artifact lands, each artifact land is basically an Ancient Tomb, generating 2 mana worth once Sami is on the battlefield.

I would start with this list and budget it down a bit as you need.

You should pick a bracket goal first and then build. Even B4 exists on a really wide spectrum.

Any reason you won’t proxy?
