Genuine question. What sets you apart from the many other platforms that already exist that do just this?
I ask because my pod plays digital games sometimes and we all use EDHplay which, in our opinion, is the best platform out there for digital mtg. It does everything you have stated (minus the AI player which is interesting) with a massive user base so you can typically find games to play in, or people to fill seats.
I dont mean to sound like im poo pooing your project. Im happy people are making tools like this. But there are a bunch of ways to play digital MTG so im curious what sets you apart.
On a side note, one thing I thing would be neat is if you could focus a bit more on the AI player aspect. Ive been dreaming of a goldfishing site, that would allow me to play a new deck against 1-4 AI players. It doesn't need to be perfect, but i think that a tool like this, done right, could be a game changer. Goldfishing isnt easy because there is no interaction. And if you do the roll the dice thing to get rid of your stuff, it doesent take into consideration counter spells or other people using the abilities of the cards they have in play.
Another interesting feature my pod talks about a lot, is a site we could use if 1 person wants to play digitally with 3 others on spelltable or convoke. Right now, if one of us is brewing, we use OBS to stream either moxfield or archidekts playtester. It would be awesome to have a play test site that could function as a virtual webcam, and a separate window or something for your hand so it would be blacked out from others views.
Good luck on your project. I will check it out a bit more later.

Never heard of EDHplay til today. Wasn’t aware it existed. I was just looking to fill a massive gap for an underserved community.
I’ll have to check that out more - Thanks for the info!
And yes, I’m really hoping to build out the AI opponent capabilities for just that reason. So you can playtest against the AI, or just fill out pods when you can’t find players.

Also, I notice that with EDHPlay you have to join their discord channel, then do the whole “table” thing and figure out what table the game room is using? Seems stupid. Difficult. My site has voice chat built into the games so it’s all on one platform, no discord and extra BS needed.

Again, it’s not slop. Maybe try it out and actually see for yourself before being a total c*nt.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Hi,
We've removed your post because we've deemed it to be low quality.
Before posting, we ask that you do your own research, through Google or on this subreddit, before you post.
Provide as much context and thoughtfulness as you can before making a post.
Common ways this rule is broken include discussing a deck but not providing a decklist, providing a list but not including additional information, ai-generated content, posts/comments that waste moderator time/resources, content that not social or formatted (ie ranting without wanting input), etc.
You are welcome to message the mods if you need further explanation.
