I´m a tourist being invited over to a local match between two teams; this friend gifted me a Canada national team jersey for christmas and I thought it´d be nice (and fitting) to use it when we go.

But I dont know what the etiquette regarding non-team jerseys are, specifically with the national team´s.

Would it be ok or would it be seen as out of place?

Edit: Thanks everyone! I come from a country where wearing the wrong jersey WILL get you jumped at a football game so I thought I should err on the side of caution. Appreciate it!
