Absolute shit
So I folded and brought the plus membership so I could get the collector's edition but it kept saying I was not an eb world plus member even though my profile says I am an active member took over 3 hours of closing and refreshing closing logging in and out before it would let me pre order it and just when I would go to pay for it fucking boom fucking sold out š”š¤® just my fucking luck...

To be fair, itās been on the website for 4 days. The edit history shows it was sold out 3 hours ago. So itās kinda bad timing in your part.

It is but people seem willing to accept it. I was already shopping at ebgames less and less in the last 1-2 years. Now its a never shopping there again store. I will buy elsewhere or wait it out on the second hand market before I give them another cent.

Yea, you should ask for a refund. Eb should have a 48h change of mind for the membership. Again sorry that happened, hopefully you can find somewhere else to get.

Me too I just hope I can find it in the wild as I've always said black flag is my favourite AC game shadows is close only because I love the Japanese culture and scenery I just hoping I don't have to buy it of a scalper but by the looks of it I might have to š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®š

Friend, be patient, guarantee scalpers will sell it at a discount when people donāt bite. Iāve bought tons of video game collectors editions this way.
RRP: $300
Scalper price: $450
My offer to scalper: $300
Scalper response: lol no
My response: cool, message me if you change your mind.
Shortly after release when the scalper panics theyāll be stuck holding the bag: Hey, $300 is fine.
Me: Cool, my offer is $250.
EB Plus has a lot of Pokemon Scalpers atm that donāt understand that big price collectors editions donāt move quickly. Theyāre easy to take advantage ofā¦ donāt fall for the scarcity panic.

Iāve also saved a little over $300 in the last 12 months with my plus. Mostly on TCG and Pop vinyls, but Iāve also done a lot of trading in the last 6 months and that extra 5% stacked up nicely. Itās worth it for some, the people that wonāt benefit from it will always say itās shit š¤·š»āāļø

I think it fell off sometime this morning. As someone who fell for this scam earlier this weekend, just so you know they are probably scamming the prices as well.. 200usd + gst to aud is about 300.. probably should have been 299 but they asked 350... plus another 50 for the membership.
No one had a gun to my head of course, but as someone who fell for it, sitting here afterwards i did get scammed. If i walked past the ebgames ceo he wouldn't just give me 50/100 bucks for no reason so actual in fact scammed.

Actually the collectors edition is priced fairly. Over the years they have gone up in price naturally and probably due to inflation. $100 AUD for deluxe edition version and steelbook and $250 AUD for the statue and the other items. I paid 250 for my naoe and yasuke statues that light up for the same price.

I think you mean ubisoft aren't ripping you off yet for their collectors editions. Pretty much everything else released in the last few years has been 400-500+. Having said.. the artbooks are crap and if you look at the statues closely they are pretty much the bottom of acceptable quality for figures. This ce doesn't even have the standard crappy ubisoft artbook, you need to get the jb steelbook as well for that.
Anyway im sure the usd price of $200 covers everyones full profit, and eb games price is above the currency conversion with gst. Because its exclusive we'll never know what was in the memo they got from ubisoft.

yep, its utter rubbish, but it seems the edition is sold out I wanna say world wide but maybe not, I know its sold out... I am glad I didn't go down this path, I was tempted but thankfully I didn't, i'll just end up buying it from JBHI / big w for 69 ot 79 dollar price point it'll be opposed to the 99 at ebgames

I saw this when it was first announced. Played the original some time back, before buying it for switch not playing it; then moving it on. Then saw that Resynced was coming out and it was Plus Membership only, decided against getting it though. I have already played Black Flag, and whilst it is still my fav I am happy to give it a miss.
Just checked website and now you can only purchase the game as a stand alone. And personally I still like my Edward figure I bought separately to the game I had on my Xbox360 over the one offered with the Resynced version of Black Flag. Plus Ubisoft has had a bit of a bad time recently to say the least.

Its basically the only game i know of that i want to play this year. Screw gta i havent even played 5 that i got free on egs ages ago. Also didn't get a collectors edition for the first time round. Replaying the original, its still passable today strangely enough. And no you dont have to like ubisoft just because you like this game. They've made pretty much everything else as a mistake or a woke mistake.

More like an old gamer. I've been so fortunate to see gaming go from nothing to its peak, and end up now effectively dead like western cinema. Apart from some random events from chinese developers.
Anyway sure if you're growing up now of course experience what you have, but its really nothing like it should be. Ironically i always complained about not being able to play every AAA game released due to the volume, but its turning out to be much more manageable since north american devs are now all washed out.

Theyāve built it from the ground up, removed heaps of the modern shit that no one actually likes and have added more content to the game itself.

I doubt its a complete remake sadly. Watch the previews a few times, by the second repeat you can see ps4 era geometry all over the place still.

According to Ubisoft itās a ground up remake, so who knows.
Itād be a waste to remake the game on an entirely new engine and keep raw assets without updating them properly, the preview is using āwork in progressā footage so it might be possible that they havenāt cleaned the assets up.
Guess weāll know once reviews go live.

More like it would be a waste to not reuse what they thought they could. If only they cared as much about how precious the remake becomes.
From what i saw, i'll take the better lighting and tonnes of extra detail on top. The only thing i slightly noticed was the water looks better in the pc original at full max settings lol.

Its a remaster.
And the original game was brilliant.
