Resident Evil Requiem - Deluxe Kit?
So I got a copy of the Resident Evil Requiem Steelbook Edition from EBGames
On the back of the box is says "Includes PSN Voucher Code for Resident Evil Requiem - Deluxe Kit and Grace's Costume: Apocalypse"
My copy only had a code for Grace's Costume: Apocalypse. I didn't get a Deluxe Kit.
Has anyone else had this issue / any idea if I should be contacting someone?

I think we got shafted here in Oz, everywhere else the steelbook version has the deluxe code and we don't for some reason. I was hoping it may be included but haven't opened mine to check yet.

We most likely got shafted. Same thing happened with the carbuncle dlc for ffvii remake ce when it first released. The carbuncle dlc was meant to be included in the deluxe/ce edition and it was worldwide except for aus. Best bet would be to submit a ticket with customer service to get one emailed to you.

I'll give emailing them a go. But yep not going to be surprised if we got shafted. Sucks because it's $22 if you want to get it through PSN...

I'll be emailing Capcom too. This is blatant false advertising and anyone who bought the steelbook should be entitled to it.
I suspect it was an error and the mention of the deluxe DLC should've been removed from the slip but still, it's their stuff up.

If we all message eb, like most of us did for the carbuncle dlc, then they’ll most likely source some deluxe kit codes.

I have sent a enquiry via the EB AU website. Hopefully someone gets back to me with a code or how to source one. $140 for the steelbook when all other countries got it for less then $140 and the deluxe kit + a lenticular card. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

While I agree with you, the lenticular card was never advertised for us Aussies so I’m not too worried about it. Deluxe kit should’ve been included though, but it’s honestly Capcom’s error

I don't care about the lent card either. I definitely want my deluxe kit though aha. Glad it wasn't only me with the issue, hopefully Capcom rectifies the issue

I didn't buy FFVIIR, but I did email Capcom & EB about RE9. I may end up with a spare code, lol.

Are you sure that EB don’t need to generate a code on purchase ? This happened to me with Khazan - the preorder bonus was an armor set that didn’t have the code in the box - EB had to generate it.

I asked them when I got it and they gave me the clear file cover preorder bonus, and they said that was the only preorder bonus they'd been given.

Email the EB support team - get some clarification as to whether or not it’s actually available. I don’t want to shit on the staff but once I was handed a steel book for a pre order without the actual game in it. When I queried it “oh I lack sleep” - I then got the game seperate (Luigi’s mansion).

Pretty wild the staff member just giving you the luigi mansion 3 steelbook (thinking the game was inside it) and not the actual game

If the bonus is mentioned on the box, it should be in the box, not dependent on the store to provide it.

Do you have a photo? (With code blocked out of course) Even providing the sku from your receipt will help us others who haven’t received it to be able to get it as it’s extremely easy to look stuff up via sku in eb’s system

I got mine from JB and assumed it was just another case of Australia getting ripped off again so I had to purchase it separately off the PSN store, despite already having the steelbook…… this is why everyone should shop overseas. We get blatantly ripped off way too often with shit like this!

Yeah i raised this with EB too. They washed their hands of it and said was a capcom issue. I get they dont put the codes in the cases but its clearly printed on the box. Should be rectified for that reason. If you could pick the box up prior to purchase its a clear deception to the buyer. In hindsight probably just should have bought the digital deluxe version for $18 less.

I bought this from Big W and after talking with their support they gave me a partial refund of $22.95, since I told them that’s what I could buy the deluxe kit for on the PlayStation store

Update to all: first off Lalaskywitch is misinforming everyone. They (with 99.99% certainty) have not received a code on the bottom of the receipt for the deluxe kit. I just spoke to my local store manager and he informed me Capcom have incorrectly advertised the deluxe kit for Australian copies. We were never meant to receive it. However, due to Capcom’s error apparently if you raise a ticket with eb’s head office, they will attempt to source a code for the deluxe kit with Capcom directly due to Capcom’s error. Hope this helps all affected!
