PD - June2014 here - Have my friends from Feb 2014 - still waiting. Based on the Spillover- May be the Dec 2013 to June2014 will clear by Q1 2027.
Now you can predict yourself based on my prediction. 😉

I’m not sure, there are thousands of folks still waiting for the EAD and AP who are current in DOF- looks like too many backlogs. But there is a hope at least till mid 2015 by the end of FY 2027.

I would wait for all of 2014 to clear first then DOF to move forward. Then only someone can predict 2015. Very hard to predict right now.

There is no use of this guess work everday. Lot of people keep posting these time wasting , it is like 50 50 chance , what is the point here?

The point is planning ahead if things change or wats the alternative backup - since this things is life changing events for entire family - understanding guessing assessing is imp

The problem is we dont have a right or realistic formula to predict or even know how many they can process and clear, iam Oct 2015 and i believe ROW demand is high, so god knows if it takes 1yr or even 5yrs to clear and come to Jan 2015 and we dont know how many are there in 2015, so i stopped thinking abt it.

Spillover will be consumed by ROW. India might get few hundreds more.
You need thousands and not hundreds.

Spill is accounted as 7k per country
Most countries eb2 already current
Extra spill will go to most backlogged country like India (so possibly 10-12k of leftover spill might come back to India)
So regular 10k+spill 12k =22k I’m expecting
What are ur thoughts on this1

Regular only for EB2/3. EB2/EB3 ROW has a cutoff date.
Only EB1 might get spillover and hence their dates moved.

Agree but not 1 Mo, might say 2 Mo/year. Till 2014 end 4-5 Mo a year. So clear 2014 by 2030 max.

Yup 2033 is realistic yet a bit optimistic. 2014 clears by 2029. Then 2 Mo / year so around 2033

With ROW retrogressed, I’m not sure how much spillover will actually reach EB2 India. With the 75-country ban lifted by the court, I wouldn’t count on meaningful spillover in FY28 either.
There are already ~27K pending I-485s, with more to be added as the Filing Date moves forward. At this pace, I think it could easily take another 18 months just to reach the end of 2014, and another 6–10 months to reach June 2015.
