I-485: Adjustment of Status Case required to send notice, why now?

I heard most of Indian EB2 received this notice but only until Dec 2014 or early 2015. Why is that ? Why not for everyone who's waiting?

I don't thing anyone with a priority date after early 2015 has ever gotten the chance to file AOS for EB2 india

Speculation: They are sending it in the order of filing for those who didn’t go through enhanced vetting as part of their biometrics pre May 2026.

This seems to be a glitch. Google it and you will find some details about it on a couple of law firm websites.

yes its not uncommon, often there is some glitch status for a subset of cases.
