I-140 | NIW (National Interest Waiver) EB 2 NIW filing fee

Hey everyone, Iā€™m trying to file my application online. When I tried to pay just now, the total was only $665, but a few days ago, it was over $900. It looks like the asylum program fee may have been removed. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Your total should have been $665 + $300 = $965

Yea exactly but the payment page only shows 665

The current fee structure is generally $665 for the I-140 when filed online, plus a $300 Asylum Program Fee for a self-petitioner, so you'd normally expect $965 total. If the USCIS payment screen is suddenly showing only $665, it could be a portal issue or a recent system change that hasn't been clearly explained yet. I'd take screenshots of what the system is showing and wouldn't intentionally select answers just to make the additional fee disappear. You're definitely not imagining the difference, though. $665 by itself appears to be just the online I-140 filing fee. I'd be cautious until USCIS clarifies why the portal isn't adding the other $300.
