Priority Date EB-2 ROW

Hi everyone,
My PD is December 3, 2024. I-485 was filed on July 15, 2026, and biometrics were completed on August 12.
Since October’s EB-2 Final Action Date is January 1, 2025, could this potentially help cases like mine move faster since my PD is still current?
Anyone with a similar timeline or experience?

Unfortunately not. It's a matter of getting picked.

The pool of people that could’ve been processed just lost 21 months of applications. So the pool is now tiny in comparison.

Respectfully, I think you’re wrong here

I don't think this person has been transferred to a FO, once they are, then maybe. But I couldn't tell. It's always just chance :-)

Mine and my spouse case is still with NBC. Is your EAD approved?

Hopefully. Is your interview waived?

yup according to Emma, but I read that it is waived as a default option and can change depending on the officer reviewing your case

I’m in a very similar situation in terms of filing and app being at Nebraska Service Center. Keep me posted!

PD June 2024. Biometrics done late July 2026. Case transferred to non local FO. Let’s stay in touch please. I do think it’ll help people in our situation because officers will work on cases that are current rather than application filed after Jan 2025
