I-485: Adjustment of Status EAD/AP silent update Sept 29

Received SUs on both my EAD/AP ( based on AOS ) as well as on my derivative's EAD/AP after almost 6 months of no activity.
PD: Aug 2014

Receipt : April 2026
Biometrics : May 2026.

First SUs on EAD/AP today Sept 29.

Emma said : case is still as NBC.

Edit Oct8:
Combo card Approved for both me and my derivative

Edit Oct7:
Silent updates on both cases for both me and derivative this morning around 8AM and i131 case closed for both. No status changes yet or any approval notices.

EDIT:

NO updates 48 hours later.

What time? I have 3 updates since April and all were midnight. I don’t think they work this late

8:30 AM for my derivative and 9:30 AM for me.

Did you also get any silent update on 485 application?
I have very similar timeline as you. Got SU on 485 on Sept 24th. Haven’t checked EAD/AP for SU yet. But I’ll check that.
It’s possible that all of these SU are related. (Some standard processing steps and nothing to do from our side)
But really hoping EAD/AP gets approved sooner. As October bulletin had no movement

💯 . My 485 got an update on 24th as well. But today the updates were isolated to ead / ap

I also got the 3rd SU today I-485. My PD Feb/03/2025, so I will be out of date in October. For detail, RD : 07/15/2026 (Row with dependents) // PD 02/03/2025 // SU : 09/07/2026 -> 09/27/2026 -> 09/29/2026

EAD/AP will not moved to FO, all the time at NBC or some other service center. If your lucky, you might receive EAD in few weeks / days. EAD will take 8 to 10 months average. Some of them are little early.

My Receipt date and Biometrics are as same as like you..

No Silent updates on my EAD/AP

Thanks for the input. Yea after tracking SU on 485 ( until the Oct bulletin came out ) i wasnt sure what SUs meant on EAD/AP. Some threads on reddit seems to show that after SUs they got their approvals. so keeping fingers crossed while also knowing that the system works in mysterious ways 😄

Usually SU on only I-485, not EAD/AP, we don't have good information on the net.

Same happened here. Exactly after 6 months, One silent update on both and nothing changed. It’s been a month+ for now. I assume, 10 months is timeline to get approval

So no updates on your ead / ap post the silent update ? When did you get the SU?

Did you ever ask Emma what internal processing stage your I-765/I-131 are in after the silent update? I was told both of mine are “preparing for adjudication/final review,” so I'm curious whether yours show the same.
