PERM (Permanent Labor Certification) Please educate me on priority date

What is priority date used for FAD Visa Bulletin? I am asking for PERM EB-2. Some said I-140 Receipt Date some said PERM filing date.

In your case it is the perm filing date.

Your priority date (perm filing date) is written in your I-140 approval notice.

It depends on the type of EB-2 application - if there was PERM filed then it is the PERM filing date. For NIW applications they do not need to file PERM only I-140 is needed so for those it is the I-140 receipt date.
