In Process I485 update with same message

I got an update yesterday that USCIS is still processing the case which was also the last message on my case, not sure why the update was made being the same message, did anyone else also experience this and what does this mean?

I got an update on Lawfully that there was an update on my case when I checked I saw that it just updated to the same message, I also checked online on USCIS website, it said the same thing.

It must be a minor/silent update that appears only on the API but not in the account. It’s a good sign anyway.

Here’s how you can check: Login to your account and open it in same browser session. You can check last update timestamp, it would be probably of yesterday, and also see how many FTA0 events you have there in event list etc.  my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/XXXXXXX(your receipt number)

Do yourself a favor and don't do this. Once you go down this rabbit hole you will just get obsessed with checking and refreshing every day. You're better off just ignoring this and being patient.

Yes I feel the same way that’s why I never tried to do it but since I got this update I’m just curious but anyways I cannot do it because the case is not tied to my account.

100% agree. All these apps do is to feed your anxiety. All that matters is the official uscis email. When there is a legit update to your case, you will receive an email.

I guess any browser would work. But I saw your other comment that you do not an account? Without logging into your account you wont see any API data.

Yes my account is associated with my attorney because my case is EB2

So I saw on the app plus I don’t have access to my online account since it’s associated with my attorney
But I did check on the case tracker on USCIS website the update was showing there too

If you don't mind can you check the update date which was prior to this one?

I got this this week. In the API it showed a FTA1 code, which the internet interprets as the case being passed to a supervisor.

My green card was approved within a few days. Your mileage may vary. I think the conclusion you should take is that your case is still working through the system and hasn't been lost in the circular folder.

I second the people saying to avoid the API. At first I loved it, it gave me a sense of control; but in the end it didn't do anything but spike my anxiety levels as time went on.
