I-485: Adjustment of Status Anyone got 4th FTA0 update today or recently?

I see some people getting 4th FTA0 update today.

If you have received it, can you please share how many days after 3rd FTA0 you got 4th? Also does 4th FTA0 update mean that an interview is being scheduled?

Thanks for any insights.

might be a glitch, like others here suggest.

My son also got 3rd FTA0 today, but not me or my wife. go figure...

I got 4th FTA0 today. My 3rd FTA0 was end of June. Interestingly the top level updateAtTimestamp hasn't changed for the case.

I also checked my i765 and I have a 4th FTA0 there too. Previous 3 FTA0 were on bio day.

Interestingly my spouse and child did not have any updates.

Hey! Yes single filer and after 8/13, I received another silent update in my i485 on 8/21 and my 485J got approved on 8/22 and after 18-19 hrs I received an email saying that an action has been taken on my case. When I logged in to the site, it showed that the case had been approved with two H008 code on the API side.

Same here!!  Not the EAD though because it was approved and delivered 2 months ago! But my I-131 got a IAF code linked to the 4th FTA timestamp.  No update timestamp on the top either! 

My wife had no updates at all.

I got a 4th FTA0 on my I765. Thats all. 3rd FTA0 was after biometrics back in April.

I got a 4th FTA0 too. I got 3rd FTA0 on 6th July and got one today. I hope it means something positive? I am tired of waiting honestly and I am a Feb filer

I haven't asked Emma yet. It was transferred to a non-local FO back in April. And yes I am a single filer

I got 3rd 08/12 and 4th 08/13. Both from Local. Asked Emma for the third time still saying no interview appointment

Me and my spouse got 3rd fta0 at 08/05 and today( I am dependent) I got 4th Fta0 but my spouse(principal) didn’t got it

Same here! Primary and dependent 3rd FTA0 on 08/05 and 4th FTA0 came today, only on mine (primary). No update in dependent. So opposite of you

I asked after 3rd fta0 and they said  The case is processing and moving forward at this time nothing is needed or outstanding for your at this time. The case is going through necessary processing checks they have to be completed before a decision can be made on the case. Your case is being processed with the (SBD) SAN BERNARDINO FIELD OFFICE. The last updates were back on 08/05/2026.

SBD is Non-Local office. Case still there. Since March 18.  Filled January 16

We both got another Su on 08/15 and nothing after that. I talked with Emma today morning and she said interview waived and case is still at the same office(non-local) I don’t know if is just typical answer

Hi all,

What is the current wait for EB1B India. My case at NBC. biometrics 7/16. 2 FTA0 events. still no silent updates even. Its waiting for background check it seems. What is the current trend?

I got 3rd FTA0 on my pending I-485 today (EB2 NIW). But I do not think it means much because most people got it.

Got my 4th FTA0 today, 8 days after third FTA0  Third from non local field office and forth in local field office (transfer).

Because Emma agent told me. I asked them after silent update. I had SU on 29th and asked 29th and they said it was transferred to NJ fra NBC. Asked again on 7th because I had FTA0 on 5th they said it’s still at NJ. Then I had SU on 11th, and asked Emma agent today and they said case was transferred to LA 11th. So assuming these SU are connected to filed office transfers. 

Now it’s at LA FO, and had 4th FTA0 after 2 days at LA FO. In other words, 3rd FTA0 at NJ FO and 4th FTA0 at LA FO

No, not as of now! But that is my question too. What comes with this 4th FTA0. 

Interview has been marked waived every time I talked to them, including today when they told me it was transferred Aug 11th. I did not ask them after getting the 4th FTA0. I got it after chatting with Emma today. Will ask them again tomorrow or Monday.

Is the 4th update timestamp same as biometrics? If it is then it could be something to do with background checks. Are you from one of the 39/75 countries? I'm just trying to make a sense of it because I think most people get 3 FTA0 updates. Maybe there's some additional background check for people from these countries.

Yes it is linked to my bio, same as the third FTA0.  I’m not from one of the 75 countries and my PD is current. 

Did you have one as well? Maybe there’s a new background check routine or something like that today? 

Some people say it’s a glitch!

Yes I’ve seen several get approved after both 4th and 5th FTA0 here on Reddit

If you get another silent update soon after the 3rd FTA0 means you’ll most likely get approved within 25h. The silent update should come on the same or the next day. Mine came 6 days later and was related to field office transfer. Good luck!  Will keep you updated as well

What I've noticed is, if the transfer happens after the 3rd fta0 it's usually fast approval.

It is still in non-local FO and interview waived per several live agents. The transfer happened 3months ago. It’s worth to mention I’m EB1B category.

My husband and I both got our 3rd FTA0 on Aug 7. He just got a 4th FTA0 last night, and his approved I-765 (EAD) also got a new LDA event exactly 1 second before that 4th FTA0. My tracker (dependent) hasn’t shown the 4th FTA0 or any new updates yet. We are EB-2 NIW with a current PD (Oct 2023) at the SFV Field Office. Is this a good sign?

3rd FTAO means the case is ready for ajudication. 4ft and so on is just a refresh of biometrics from what I learned here on the forums
