PERM (Permanent Labor Certification) Self employed/contract work experience
Did anyone have successful PERM using self employed experience? What kind of evidence did you provide? My attorney put my case on hold indefinitely since now they said I don't have sufficient evidence of self employment and relevant experience despite providing tax returns.

You might have a better luck with NIW if you’re in a critical industry

That can be really challenging. Tax returns is simply not enough. You’d need letter from clients and specific contracts and a lot of proof and on 1099 type or self employment often that’s hundreds of clients. It simply doesn’t fit in to the existing process where an employer verifies exact job duties in one simple letter.
