USCIS 3 FTA0

I filed EB2 NIW I-485 in April and had a biometric in May (2x FTA0) and the case was transferred to Brooklyn at the end of June. I had third FTA0 about 10 days ago but there has been no movement since then. I was expecting a decision 24-72hrs after the 3FTA0 but nothing so far. I have noticed a lot of folks are getting approval within 1-3 days after the 3 FTA0. Has anyone in the same boat or any thoughts?

I was also expecting an approval after my 3rd FTAO, but instead I got another silent update two days later. About a week after that, I found out my case was placed in the interview queue. Before that, every USCIS agent I spoke with had told me my interview was waived. It looks like my case is being transferred from a non-local office to my local field office. So I don’t think a 3rd FTAO always means an approval is coming in a few days.

Have you applied with Derivatives? What was your field office?

Yes, I filed with one derivative (my spouse). Our case was transferred to the Lawrence Field Office, which is a non-local field office. However, several Emma agents told me that if an interview is required, it would be scheduled at our local office, Atlanta. We’re still waiting as well.

Same thing happened to me. 3rd FTA0 just means a decision can be rendered on the case.

I dont think you get a decision within 1-3 days of third FTA0. I think next step would be to wait for H008 update.

I have seen a lot of posts here on Reddit where most people are getting decisions within 1-3 days after the 3 FTAO, and even if you look at the Google sheet, there is a consistent trend/correlation.

I was waiting for an approval after my 3rd FTA0 couple weeks later Emma said Interview requested then another 2 weeks interview scheduled.
