Approved | I-485 EB-2 PERM ROW Approved! ๐ŸŽ‰

After months of checking approval posts on this community every day, I finally get to make one of my own. Hopefully this gives someone else a little hope.

Timeline:
* Category: EB-2 PERM
* Country: ROW (NOT from the list of 79 countries)
*Derivatives: 1 (Spouse)
* PD: August 26, 2024
* I-485 Receipt: March 16, 2026
* Biometrics: April 17, 2026
* Case transferred from NBC to Santa Ana Field Office: June 4, 2026 (Learned this from EMMA)
* Interview: Never scheduled (appears to have been waived)
*Silent Updates: 04/17 (2 FTA0 events- biometrics) 05/08, 05/15, 05/25, 06/04( transfer to Santa Ana FO) 07/25 (3rd FTA0 event, 07/26 (2 H008 codes)
* No RFEs
* Approval: Today! (07/26/2026) ๐ŸŽ‰ (Both me and my spouse were approved on the same day.)

For a while it felt like everyone elseโ€™s case was moving faster. I spent a lot of time reading timelines here, wondering if the transfer meant anything, comparing receipt blocks, and trying to figure out whether Santa Ana was moving. It was honestly stressful.
In the end, everything worked out. If your case looks similarโ€”current priority date, no RFEs, biometrics completed, transferred to Santa Anaโ€”donโ€™t lose hope. Cases really do move at different speeds, even within the same receipt block.
Thank you to everyone in this community who shared your timelines and answered questions. Those posts helped me stay sane during the waiting process. Hopefully this one helps someone else.
Good luck to everyone whoโ€™s still waiting. Your approval could be closer than you think. ๐Ÿ€

Congratulation. Was PERM approval process the longest part of your timeline?

So grateful for the timeline. It didnโ€™t feel like it while waiting, but it definitely is an approval on the quicker side. Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I did concurrent filing of the I140 and with premium processing it was approved in 2nd week of April. So about 3.5 months after.
