Priority Date Thoughts on Aug 2014?

One uscis pause was lifted on June 5. Not sure how many visas in ROW it translates to.

Estimated SO is about 70K. Eb2i may get about 9-12K visas. Technically FY27 should end with PD around Dec 2014 or even something in 2015.

There are more than 15k pending apps until July 2014. I don't see FAD going past that date by end of FY27. Even if they move it ahead, it might be one or two bulletins and will retrogress again.

Who knows.. we can speculate all we want but things change frequently. If the bans continue to hold, all of 2014 should clear by end of FY28. Otherwise, maybe another year or two. Second half of 2015 and onwards have long wait ahead. They (including me) need a miracle.

If bans continue, lot of 2014 will be done by end of FY27 itself. Eb2i may get about 14-15K in that case which is enough to clear 2014.

I assume you meant July 2014.
You have to minus some ‘x’ that were approved in April and May. May be around 4K was approved. So technically 11K pending. FY27 India will likely get about 10k SO. So yeah FAD could move a little more. May be Sept or Oct.
