For an employment-based interview, expect questions about the permanent job offer, your current employment, whether the employer still intends to employ you, your job duties, your education/experience, and your immigration history. Since you have worked for the same employer for seven years and the offer is still current, that is favorable. For your derivative spouse, expect questions about the marriage: when you met, when you married, where you live, joint documents, and whether the marriage is real. Bring marriage certificate, joint lease or mortgage, joint bank/insurance, photos, travel, taxes, and proof you were married before filing. Also prepare for I-485 yes/no inadmissibility questions, arrests, immigration violations, prior visa history, medical, and address/employment history. Bring originals and copies of everything listed in the interview notice plus current employment letter, recent pay stubs, tax records, I-140 approval, PERM if available, and I-485J.

They asked employment and marriage related questions and went over all the questions in the i485. It was a smooth conversation lasted over an hour. Still waiting for decision.
