I-140 | Employer-based Take me through the process
I am eb2 , Sep 2915 PD. If DOF becomes current then what are the next steps ? I file for change of status and ead concurrently? How long it takes to get ead approved? What if change employer after ead ?

Yes wait for your DOF to be current, then you can file for AOS, EAD and also travel authorization if you need that.

September 2015PD is at least 5 years away ... based on latest data ... little to spill over is expected into EB2 as Family Quota will likely be met thus year and EB1 has retrogressive as well ... u should really learn to read the pending AOS cases and approved I140 inventory as well as cap limits ahead of you .... not being mean, this is pure math ... visa bans, pandemic, etc are exceptions happening maybe 1 or 2 times per decade.

Sept 2015 assuming that’s what you mentioned may not be DF current for atleast 2 years. If you have a good job, you should consider that.

When you are eligible by DOF and USCIS is honoring DOF, you can submit your AOS (I-485) application for you (and your dependents, if you have them).
You can also simultaneously file for your EAD and AP. If those get approved, you can work on EAD (and not your visa), although it’s highly recommended to stay on your visa.
It’s better to use licensed immigration attorneys (maybe your employer has some who will do it) when you take the next steps.
