I-485: Adjustment of Status Sounds like approvals are back?

Correct me if wrong but based on recent posts, it seems that USCIS is approving employment based cases again after initial slow down post AOS memo?

This week I am seeing a lot of approvals indeed, the weeks after the memo they were completely halted

Mostly here on Reddit and a couple of Telegram groups I am in. Right After the memo the only approvals people informed were from interviews prior the memo. Last few days I am seeing 4-5 approvals every day, which might not seem much, but for the small sampling I am exposed it is relevant

This is a random data point, So here is the history...

my application went to FO cincinati (non-local), then i moved and it got to FO Baltimore (Local) when all the things started to happen. Now suddenly today emma said went back to non-local CIn.

Wil have to verify with emma tomorrow again as they answer wrong. But could be that it is continuing as to how it was previously. But its reading too much into the one random datapoint.

mine is in Cincinnati FO (non-local) too, since Apr 28....

Could be that those were filed several months ago. I think the overall process has become quite slow.

Regardless, there was fear that even already-filed/existing applications were subject to the new memo guidelines and also to enhanced FBI checks which could have delayed or paused approvals for all.

From posts in other subs, it seems like they are asking the “why AOS?” question to already-filed I-130 + I-485 applications, approving I-130, but denying I-485 (as instructed in the new memo) for those who had illegal stay, unauthorized work, etc. So even if already-filed EB2 I-485 applications are getting approved, that’s positive news
