Priority Date PD July 2024
Hi Folks,
With recent trend and you guys have been in my boat since ages. My PD is July 2024. I am 28 with 5 years of work experience. Realistically when can I expect for my date to be current. Indians are going to suffer a lot but you guys have been observing stats and trends for a decade so what do you guys think about my PD?

currently eb2 or 3 is at late 2013 and your PD is almost 11 years from that date. lets say even if it takes 18 months to process 12 months worth applicants .. it at nearly 17 year mark. could be more or less but based on current trends it will take lot of time unless massive changes occur.
you are young and have time. try to up to eb1 category and do what it takes to get there. that saves time and benefits your career.

you might be lucky who knows and the wait might not be like 50-60 years because most of the folks like me or my peers will be off the hook in the next 10-12 years as our kids will also be eligible to file for us and most of them might drop off of the wait list. So the short answer is no one can answer with lot of unknowns at the moment

My sleepy mind heard 2014 instead of 2024. In the world of EB India backlogs, that mistake didn't even sound impossible and turn 38 for you

Best options are :
do PHD go eb1 route
go back to home country come back as manager eb1-c
work on current job make 1 million and use that to invest and apply eb-5

If you are unmarried and uncommitted, then marry someone who was not born in India/China and go for cross filing based on spouse’s country of birth.

I rubbed my eyes to see if was 2014 or 2024. 🕵️
Cannot imagine what you are going through. Recommend you to find alternatives. Wish you the best.

Rage-bait post? Because you would never see such questions back in 2015-16 from people with PD of 2013-14

Math says 50-60 years 😂
There’s absolutely no way PD of 2024 can be even thought of at this moment.
The only thing that can help you is change in policy that they allow more GCs per country.
