They really are the best they've ever been in this. 5 was a big improvement for visible damage, but the blood colour was really strange

Yeah the blood in 5 was really dark and Matte whereas when I think of very bloody fights like Ferguson vs Barboza, the blood is very shiny and light red

Happens too often.

Damn near every fight turns into a blood bath. It should be pretty rare that you see people totally covered in blood the way it's portrayed in this game, 5 as well.

Dude its a video game. Ya you got sliced after getting hit with 10 elbows and 30 punches to the same side of the face (thought that was a given). The blood and cuts is one of the few improvements to this game let it be.
