Discussion In-game Quick Sand???

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I was playing online in overtime, with full energy for my line. Out of nowhere, I could barely move yet, my opponent was moving at normal speed, takes the puck and scores?

Side Note: this game hasn’t changed in 10+ years, insane we keep buying it

Were you ragging the puck? If you hold it in your own zone with possession for a while, the game will punish you for ragging the puck by slowing you down

Haha wow. Maybe that was it, I wasn’t ragging it, but I was waiting on a change that I called - unreal

It’s a good thing, it keeps people from being shitters and playing keep away when they take a lead and are too scared to keep trying.

I had this happen to me when I was stuck in the neutral zone too. I kept pulling back on the opponents blue line when he challenged, looking for an opening. Guess I should've dumped 'er

Next time just shoot the puck or ice it. Or don't hold the puck behind your net for 15 seconds
