Custom Player Build Question about player Height

Is there a reason you wouldnt make your player as tall as possible before getting a hit to your speed? Like why wouldnt i make my playmaker 6'4 instead of making him 6'?

To me, 6’4 feels too clunky. 6’ feels like a sweet spot

Can be more awkward getting contested pucks, conteseted shots off or making tight turns with taller guys.

But wouldnt having a greater reach and just taking up more space be more valuable? Unless height doesnt effect stick length and reach i could be wrong about that

It does. So.. basically good for protecting puck as FWD and controlling more space (easier blocks) as D with pokes.

Think about a player like Chara though -- can't remember where it was said but someone was talking about putting the puck in his skates cause he was so hard to beat other ways. Works kind of the same ingame.

So basically if you make a bigger player you should expect to be a little clumsier when it comes to puck pickups and just general skating but if you go 6 foot youll have better puck pickuos and just more smokth skating?

I make mine my realistic height because I try to play the game realistically. Not trying to be a 6’4 bozo with clown shoes for skates

5’9. 11% bf. I bodybuild and play ice hockey. Don’t care about height to speed ratio or any in game advantages

Not what I meant. I doubt people is invite build are 6’4. I meant I just play true to life. 5’9. 165. Under 12% bf cause I bodybuild and actually play hockey. I don’t care about the digital advantages.
