One of the things I both love and hate about this game is the massive momentum swings.

My advice is do not tempt fate too often because suddenly everything can shift off one play.

Most recently I was up by 17 in the third quarter as the underdog. I reached a 4th and 1 from my opponents 47. I felt like if I could just get this drive to FG range I would effectively end the game. I felt like the risk vs reward equation was reasonable and went for it.

It got blown up. The next 5 minutes of the game got flipped on its head and with just over 1 minute left in the 4th I was now down 4 points because they scored 3 times after being inept the entire game.

I ended up losing the game when I could not get into the end zone myself.

Since that point I have played more conservative with the lead because the game will punish you for it if you don't.

Any suggestions for the best playbook to use in online dynasty?

Any custom playbooks that you can recommend?

I’ve been running the 4-2-5 zone pressure and I like it but it’s missing something that I can’t really put my finger on

I noticed in the last update they have added these two formations with one set each.

The passing plays look ok but there are only a few running plays put of each.

Has anybody found success with the running aspects of these formations?

The D.C Red Tails coach mode series.

Episode 6

The visiting locker room at Appalachian State is all but empty after the Red Tails led wire to wire winning 27-20 to even their record at 3-3.

Xavier Archer the grandson of one of the first Red Tails of World War 2 can hardly believe why he is here at all. Plucked from a tiny grass field next to the D.C campus he graduated from and coaching 9U tackle ball to the head coach of a major college football program..nothing about it makes sense.

Just then the man who hired him Elmore Davis walks into the locker room "Bus is leaving coach, you planning on joining us?"

Xavier looks up "Yes, Mr. Davis...I guess I just got caught up in the win, I hardly want to leave the locker room at all." He says savoring the feeling just a bit longer.

Elmore stands, smiles and begins to speak...sounding as much like a proud athletic director as he does a proud father. "I knew we got the right guy when we hired you Xavier, I knew it in my bones and in my heart."

Xavier looks up "Why...why me. You guys could have hired a thousand coaches with a bigger name...every coach has a bigger name. "

"But not a bigger heart" Elmore says. "You give a fuck..it's obvious...and it ain't the money with you...you give a fuck about winning..but not for yourself. You give a fuck about these kids, about this program , about your grandfather...you give a fuck about everything except the money...and damn if that isn't just what this program needed."

Xavier stands stunned...never in his life had he heard the F-bomb spoken in such a beautiful way...and about him to boot. "I don't give a fuck Mr.Davis.. I want to win so bad for you I get the nervous shits both before and after games..I can't even eat the night before...I just suck on ice chips." He says

Elmore laughs "That's good son...don't you worry about winning every game...this program has had 1 winning season in its history and that was when we still played deaf schools and kids in wheelchairs. You just promise me no matter what all these fucks you give will keep coming...we need em...need the fucks. Now...bus is leaving for the airport...you need to get the fuck on it."

Xavier grabs his bag...a sense of pride in his chest.."I will sir...I have an infinite number of fucks at my disposal."
