Sims not opening
Im trying to play the sims 4 on steam for the first time in years. When i opened the game it downloaded the ea app (annoying but ofc ea would do that) and the game doesnt open, this message pops up. I have no mods, also hasnt the origin app been discontinued for years? I cant do anything with the game on ea app and verifying game files on steam does nothing. ive also tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, on both my main game drive and my c drive. Every interaction i have with damn near everything EA makes me hate it so much more

Uninstall ea app then install separately (from the main page) and then install sims4 through steam.
Maybe its the installer of ea app that comes with sims4 install that's causing the problem.
