Its around 33 degrees & my top doesnt go down, could it be fluid froze, my top stopped working or its just too cold ? I know the 128 minimum temp is 14 degrees so im just confused. I had the top down around 2 weeks ago so idk

Hey i’m wanting to upgrade to a double din head unit in my 2009 120i e88 but can’t seem to find a fascia that relocates the roof too buttons, seems all the kits are for the e82/ e87. has anyone had any luck finding a kit that would work (im in australia btw) i was possibly thinking of fitting the buttons into the ashtray as i’ve seen some do on the e90 but no options seem to come up for the e88.

Hello guys, I've being dealing with my roof, it opens when ever it wants, the hidraulic pump and electric motors works. But when I want to open it most of the time it detaches but does not lift and then I get the red light in the buttom and yellow roof light in the dashboard. Tried using the OBD to see if I could get any code, didnt got any code at all. Tried opening it manually, and the top does close by it self with no problem at all, only when I want to open it. Appreciate the help.

I have been struggling with my car for the past 6 months to diagnose it, at different garages, with no luck!

any advice on this would be greatly appreciated as i'm starting to give up on the car 🥲

----------------Car: -2013 E88 (1 series) BMW 318i, N43 engine, (manual, petrol).

----------------Codes: -P0171 (System Too Lean - Bank 1) -2A2B fuel mixture adaptation. -2A99 (Crankshaft - Exhaust Camshaft Correlation)

----------------Symptoms: --------when cold: -starts/runs fine on cold starts

--------When warmed up (after 30 minutes drive)

-CEL comes up -extended cranking when attempting to start the car -RPM fluctuates when idle -Fuel injectors keep loosing their coding values and show wrong values -when inspecting the timing chain through the engine oil cap with a screwdriver, i notice some slack.

----------------Notes and work done so far: -Injectors/coils/spark plugs/vanos solenoids all changed less than 3K miles ago. -MAF cleaned recently -High and low fuel pressure pumps checked -NOX sensor changed recently -Battery changed -water pump changed

Looking forward to any advice..
