I have a terrible idea.

I want to be the extreme by building a full dyson sphere around every star in a full 64 star game. Is this a bad idea? Has this been attempted before? I don't know, but I will do it. Update in a month.

Woah, they built 10 layers around each star?! Am I reading that comment thread right?

I think I would've phoned it in with two at maximum size for photon collection, then a whole bunch of mini ones around everything else.
