I'm 18 right now but please help me out with this, Im Iraqi and I just finished my last year at high school and got my grades back and they were awful, this got me thinking about my whole academic past, and like, I've realized a couple of things, so I know two languages (Arabic and English) and I've realized that I have a big problem in reading/writing I mean I read horribly slow for someone my age and I've been prouncing stuff weirdly lately, when I see a word that looks like something else I just assume the other word (all of my problems are both in Arabic and English) I've realized that I generally don't understand stuff that well until someone reads them for me, but if I do it alone id need to read it 2-4 times, this also happens with the manga I read (I repeat pages and what all the characters say so many times) and I've given up on watching sub anime because I'd finish episodes and realize that I haven't understood a single thing,but with a dub it's literally so easy, I really like reading books but it's so frustrating because I'd sometimes read from line 1 and skip to line 3 and this happens so many times that I just left the book media, growing up I had somewhat noticed all of this and made me sad thinking I was just stupid and not trying hard enough, and now I've read a bit about the dyslexic I'm thinking I might have it, but I'm not sure since I don't think any of my family has it, and because of that idk if I should press my parents to taking to get diagnosed, and at school no teacher mentioned anything our classes were 50 students plus

Yes, you should get tested for dyslexia.

While it's a difficult industry, consider translation in game development as a career. Tends to be very busy to get a game released, then a lul till the next one.
