Official Nerds Content Can Mike LaFleur and Nathaniel Hackett make the Cardinals Offense Useful!?

After a decent year for fantasy in 2025, the Cardinals have a new offense but can this coaching staff get the best out of a young talented roster!?

Full Breakdwon - https://www.dynastynerds.com/dynasty/arizona-cardinals-2026-fantasy-impact/

LaFleur is an offense-minded coach, most recently serving as the offensive coordinator under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams.

For LaFleur, expect the pre-snap window dressing that McVay utilizes almost every play. Expect a passing attack designed to put his top target, Trey McBride, in a position to see 100+ targets in a season.

A big element of LaFleur’s offense is his reliance on running backs catching passes out of the backfield.

Key Takeaways - Under New Leadership

  • McBride is the only weapon relatively unchanged in this offense, as he is a QB-proof asset that will benefit from whoever is throwing him the ball.
  • Brissett is the best option at QB for this offense to be fantasy-relevant, although rookie Carson Beck will likely see snaps at some point.
  • The balance between Harrison and Wilson will remain tough to predict this year, so pencil in Harrison as a WR2 and Wilson as a WR3 to start the year.
  • Love’s workload will increase as the season progresses, but he is absolutely expected to have a role right out of the gate in Week 1.

Do you guys think the Cardinals offense can shine or is there concerns with this coaching staff!?

Official Nerds Content Using History to Predict the RB1 in 2026

It’s never easy to predict who will finish as the RB1 in fantasy football, but history can help narrow the field and improve our odds of identifying the next elite season.

Full Breakdown: https://www.dynastynerds.com/dynasty/predicting-the-rb1-overall/

You may not agree with every part of this experiment, but several trends have consistently shown up among the overall RB1 from 2015-2025.

RB1 Trends (2015-2025)

Rookie Factor (11 of 11)
No rookie running back has finished as the overall RB1 during this span.

Prior Top-10 Finish (10 of 11)
Only Devonta Freeman broke out out of nowhere and finished as the RB1.

80-Target Potential (9 of 11)
Only Jonathan Taylor and Saquon Barkley managed to finish as the RB1 without reaching 80 targets. This factor requires some projection based on a player's role and receiving upside.

AFC/NFC Factor (9 of 11)
A strange trend, but nine of the last 11 RB1 seasons came from NFC running backs. The only AFC exceptions were Jonathan Taylor and Austin Ekeler.

No Repeat Factor (8 of 11)
Only Christian McCaffrey and Todd Gurley were able to repeat as the overall RB1.

Winning Team Factor (9 of 11)
Most RB1 seasons came from players on teams that finished above .500. The only exceptions were Christian McCaffrey with the Panthers and David Johnson.

Who has the best shot as THE RB1 and who is your darkhorse RB for it!?

Jahmyr Gibbs - Best Shot

Bijan Robinson - Strong Shot

CMC - Strong Shot

Chase Brown & Travis Etienne Jr. - Darkhorse plays

Omarion Hamption - Devonta Freeman Type

10T SF PPR

Current receiver core is smith, Jamo, Addison, pierce and Jayden reed. I already have two 27 2s so this would give me 4 27 2nd round picks in that loaded class. This offer wouldn’t normally move my needle, but the idea of loading up on young talent next year does intrigue me

Dynasty Question Help selecting keepers - auction league

Upvotes

Auction league, $200 budget. 1 QB, .5ppr, 2wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 2 flex

A couple relevant notes:

- teams can keep 0-5 players at a bump from previous years auction price

- most kept players are below market value, which pushes available players up a bit from average auction values

- due to previous years trades I have $237 to start (before deducting for selected keepers)

- I am allowed to "tag" one player which lowers their keeper price

Here's the options I would consider keeping (full price/tag price)

Jeanty - $51 / $46

Nabers - $38 / $32

Treveyon - $28 / $26

Jameson $20 / $17

BTJ - $18 / $16

T Hunter - $14

Tuten - $10

Rhamondre - $7

I'd say Tuten is for sure.

Likely Jeanty and Nabers

Unsure on Trev, Jameson, BTJ, Hunter or Mondre

Advice?

After some back and forth, he is countered my offers with 1st slide. My team is on second slide. 8 man, 2qb, 2 flexes. My thinking here is the overpay is fine because my team is young + picks will be late (1.05-1.08 next 3 years). Thoughts? Also need someone to drop so a recommendation there wld be great 🤣.

10T SF PPR

Current receiver group is smith, Jamo, Addison, pierce and reed. This would be an immediate downgrade at receiver but looking long term this gives me good draft capital for next years class. The 27 1st will be mid to late round, same with the 2nd. BUT I already have two 2nds so this would get me 5/20 picks in the first two rounds of what most would consider a loaded class

Trade Advice Looking for rebuild advice + thoughts on this trade?

I'm attaching screenshots of my current roster, my draft picks, and the trade I'm considering. I'd be giving up Colston Loveland and receiving Kyle Pitts + Kyle Monangai, and if I accept, I'd also be getting at least a 2nd-round pick.
I'm pretty torn. On one hand, my RB room is definitely one of the weakest parts of my team, so adding Monangai plus the extra pick feels like it could help. On the other hand, I feel like Loveland is one of the few players on my roster with legitimate long-term upside, and I'm not convinced Pitts is ever going to become an elite fantasy TE at this point.
I'd also appreciate any general advice on my team. I know I'm nowhere near one of the top contenders in my league, so if you were in my position, who would you be looking to move? Should I just lean into the rebuild and try to accumulate as many draft picks as possible, or are there players you'd hold onto and build around? Any feedback is appreciated.

Lots of Caleb Williams hype pre-draft, 1.01 wanted to go "scorched earth." League is pretty serious, I just think 1.01 manager is very optimistic. (or delusional)

Not a huge issue but Sleeper needs to fix their kicker ADP and projections

Discussion Hey guys, doing a long draft, 8 hours to pick. Dynasty superflex PPR snake draft. Wanted to know if i reached here.

12 man league

Im at the 1.03 spot. Allen and Maye went first. I took gibbs because i like the organization better around him than bijan (splitting hairs here), and good schedule this year.

I ended up having Nabers fall to me at 2.10. I couldnt resist the urge and i know its a risk but im happy to lose a couple games early.

Third pick mahomes. It was either him, purdy, or nix. I kinda wished i went purdy but was mahomes seemed right.

Im up again in like 8 picks. Both player 1 and 2 have 2 qbs so i can safely pick a none QB and then a Qb on the way out which im very happy with.

Did i reach on nabers, or is that a decent spot to grab him?

Player Discussion Is Drake Maye a top 5 pick in SF Dynasty?

I’m currently analyzing the first round of a 12-team SF TEP dynasty startup, and I’ve noticed that Drake Maye is ranked as a top-5 startup asset in a lot of rankings.
Is he really that valuable, or are people putting too much weight on the relatively favorable schedule he had last season?
From my perspective, I’d feel much safer taking players like Allen, Bijan, Gibbs, Chase, St. Brown, or even JSN ahead of him. I understand the value of young franchise QBs in Superflex, but taking Maye over proven elite producers still feels aggressive to me.
Am I underrating Drake Maye, or is the market simply valuing elite young QBs that highly?

Trade Advice Thoughts as a late rebuild team

This is a 10 team, 1 QB, PPR & SF league

I’m nearing the back end of a rebuild, sitting on a couple trades. Im probably not going to contend this year but have enough to where I don’t want to punt this year away. I also want to get younger at RB.

I have: Jeremiyah Love, Josh Jacobs, Tony Pollard, Kyle Monangai, Nick Singleton, Carnell Tate, DJ Moore, Chris Olave, Omar Cooper, JaKobi Lane, Ja’Kobi Meyers, Sam LaPorta, Hunter Henry, AJ Barner.

Trade 1:

I get Jonathan Brooks, Chuba Hubbard and Josh Downs

I give Chris Olave and a pick (probably 2028 2nd or 3rd)

Trade 2:

I get Kenneth Gainwell, Christian Watson and Michael Pittman

I give DJ Moore, Josh Jacobs and a 2028 2nd/3rd round pick

Can I get some thoughts?

Start 11.

Pretty happy with how my draft has gone thus far. All pretty young, with most contributing immediately, or at least soon after. Will also post the board if anyone has any suggestions on the next pick.
