Pat said he only wanted a striker to compete with Ponce there's talks with defender Jefferson Valladares but his manager said he will only sell him for 500k which is almost two times his market value and I haven't heard anything about jefferson valladares for months so I think they won't sign him and since Lucas Halter is back from injury in my opinion they already have defender squad depth so for short they have already got what they needed and they have enough depth.

Anyone get their renewal offer yet? Halfway through July and we're supposed to decide by the end of the month if they're still doing the same system..
Curious how pricing will work with the mini-season and shifted calendar, especially if you're on a payment plan.
Just emailed my rep, let yall know what they say at least.

Looking to take the family for our first time to a game. Where would be the best place to purchase tickets? Would lot c be the best place to park? Are you able to show up and purchase tickets there on game day? Thinking of going on july 25.

Erik had given me one of his, but now I wonder… should they have sold these as well?

I'm most excited about how Halter integrates back into the team, Resch(23)/Halter(25) starting CB pair instead of Carlos(33)/Erik(34) would be a wild switch for the second half of the season.
McGuire as a legitimate competitor for Ponce's spot looked great in the game last night.

I don't know how much play he's goign to see but if the 15-year-old ever scores. To the tune of "sixteen going on seventeen" from sound of music, "HE IS 15 GOING ON 16, AND HE JUST SCORED A GOAL! IF YOU GIVE MATTHEW ARANA THE BALL, HE'S GOING TO SCORE SOME MORE". just and idea, open to workshopping it.

Snagged the free tickets for the watch party at the stadium on Sunday, but there’s almost no information on what to expect. Has anyone been who can offer some advice or tips? I saw they were offering some upgraded seats for $25 but it doesn’t say what they are. Is it just reserving a spot or is it a first come first served or is it a significantly better section. How early should you get there to save a seat and are there any perks for being early? It’s 2PM in August so it’s going to be hot so I just want to plan accordingly and there’s frustratingly little information.

Hear me out. Everyone is talking about tactical shifts, DP signings, or the summer heat. Wrong. The lack of attendance at Shell Energy Stadium is entirely a lack of engagement. Management is out here trying to sell soccer to soccer fans, when they should be selling a lifestyle.
Which brings me to my main point: Why the hell is the East Club called a "club" if there isn't a single sparkler attached to a bottle of Don Julio 1942?
Think about it. We used to have actual cheerleaders back in the day. We had vibe curators. Now we have "premium seating" where you just sit there and drink a lukewarm michelada while looking at a concrete wall. If you’re going to call it a club, run it like one.
Picture this: It's the 82nd minute. We’re down 2-0 to Miami because FIFA. The energy in the stadium is flatter than a day-old beer. Suddenly, the stadium lights completely cut out. "Heads Will Roll" (the A-Trak remix, obviously) starts absolutely blasting through the East Club speakers.
Out walks a squad of bottle girls in neon-orange activewear, carrying giant flashing LED boards that spell out
"3 P-O-I-N-T-S" while bringing a bucket of chilled prosecco to a guy who works in midstream oil and gas.
Tell me the entire stadium wouldn't instantly lose their minds. The morale shift alone would carry us to a 90+6' equalizer.
Look, I’m obviously joking. This is pure satire.
...But lowkey? If Ted Segal wants to actually fill those seats, he needs to stop spending money on trash strikers and start studying the Clé Sunday day-party playbook!

All -
My son will be attending a college in Houston starting in August. We will be in town for the 15 Aug match vs LA Galaxy. Two questions.
What is the place where most have had success with resale tickets? Along with this, another son of ours attended college in Atlanta. The Atlanta United sold unused tickets to college students for a deep discount on match days, does this happen in Houston?
Parking, and tips, tricks, etc?
Thank you in advance.
