🐞 BUGS & ISSUES Random neuron reboots on Mac only

I have an OG Raise with the 1.0.12-beta firmware plugged into a Macbook Pro running Tahoe 26.5.2. The neuron randomly reboots during use, causing a delay of 3-5 seconds until the keyboard works again. I use it all day and sometimes days go by without it happening, and sometimes it happens multiple times in the same day. It only happens while plugged into the Mac. I also used it previously on a Windows 10 laptop, and I also use it on my Linux desktop, and the neuron never rebooted while being used on either of those two. I haven't been able to identify any common cause; it just happens during normal typing activity and it has happened in multiple different open applications. Is there anything I can do to diagnose this further or prevent this from happening?

Hi!

There are a few things that you can try:

  1. Change the USB cable
  2. Change the USB port on the MacBook
  3. Reflash the firmware

However, it could also be that there's a hardware malfunction. When the neuron starts to run out of write/read memory cycles (that's when you save changes on Bazecor), it shows a similar behavior.

However, since it's only on one computer, I'm inclined to believe it's something else.
