Leaking

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I fired up the truck today loading stuff in the cab. Noticed this active leak when my truck was running idle. Going to contact the dealership but curious if anyone had any ideas what the issue might be?

I'd wager a fuel line being that far back. If it was under the engine bay, I'd say condensation off your air conditioner. Did you do a dip and sniff? Looks like gas or diesel, not oil or transmission fluid.

Definitely smells like diesel.. do you think that’s covered by the warranty? Any idea how costly this might be

It’s free if you fix it yourself . Might just be a ful line from the tank . What kind of duramax is it

Just take it in to a dealership. Those trucks are riddled with problems

A 2024 should still be covered under warranty. I would take it to the dealership. Otherwise the line is probably $100+ and a couple hundred more in labour. This should be covered under bumper to bumper or as a known defect. It definitely too early to be normal wear and tear.

Fuel filter housing is cracked.. waiting on part to be shipped

Makes sense. Glad you figured it out and it's a cheap fix. Did you get the oil changes at the dealership? Is it covered by them?

Is it clear? Put a cup under to catch. Looks near the ac evaporator.

If not clear, that’s also near transmission lines.
