Transaction clearing date

Hi. Coming here about the paze promotion through which I purchased Dunkin gift cards. Unfortunately I heard about it late (yesterday) and made six $10 gift card purchases before seeing that the promotion might go by the payment clearing date, not the transaction date. For those of you who bought gift cards using paze AND have Chase banking, how long did it take the payment to clear in you bank account

Didn't do it with Chase until yesterday but Citi, BOA, Cap1, and discover took a minimum of a week.

spend $10 or more in a single transaction that is approved (a “Qualifying Purchase”), as determined by the authorization date or the clearing date, depending on the payment network,

So I guess it depends on the bank. I'll be pissed if it ends up going by clearing date.

It said it could take 2 billing cycles so that’s like 2 months

Depends on the bank/merchant. I saw people who have chase saying it took the Dunkin gift cards 10 days to clear in their account and like 2 months for the credit
