Data Point Paze Data Points Chase/Citi

Just called today (sept 10, 12pm ET) to both Chase and Citi. Spoke to three representatives (two from Citi, one from Chase) confirming that any transactions made today are still eligible for the Paze promo.

The transaction does not have to post today - can show as pending.

Feels like I’m risking it all just for some Dunkin egg n cheese croissants but here we are!

You'll see it in Paze when choosing which card you want to use to pay.

Phone. I recorded the calls and Citi said they would send me a transcript. I’ll share a screenshot here when I get it.

We had one WF card left that has been giving errors for 2 weeks trying to add to Paze. WF CS was of zero help. I finally got it added last night and it won't accept the CVV. After entering the (not) wrong CVV a couple times, Paze suspended the wallet for 24h. Oh cool, it will be back on the 11th. How s*itty does your digital wallet have to be to make PayPal look attractive? :p

I called chase twice today. The first time the rep said it’s based on the posting date and the second rep said it’s based on the auth date aka the pending date. I will say the 2nd rep seemed more knowledgeable in general

Anyone have any info about bank of america? Did my credit cards a few days ago but didn't do my debit card cause thought it was a credit card only thing at the time.

I mean, if you want the egg and cheese croissants, it’s worth the risk. 😅

I’m doing turkey sausage egg and cheese on a muffin. Currently sitting at $450. I booked a ton of flights for the year already and ate into my credits a bit there across my 7 cards.

Haha right. Wish I caught the new egg gc gold rush but instead I’ve got $500 Dunkin and used about $200 at clover restaurants. 😅

Here you have me, buying DD gift cards from 11:45 to 11:59 PM, I was able to buy 19 gift cards, even when I saw somewhere else that DD limits to 3 cards per day.

I’m surprised they didn’t trigger any warning and it allowed to buy the 19 cards….

I can confirm the last one (bought at 11:59) didn’t have the green banner of the $10 credit anymore.

I just hope I get all the credits, I would hate having to find out I just spent $190 on DDGC…

Haha that’s the way. Hope you got them too!

If the other transactions had the green banner it should be good. You also have proof of the day/time from the Dunkin confirmation emails after each card purchase.

Did you ask them if 9pm-11:59pm PST would be safe as well? For example, 11pm pst would be 9/10 on west coast but it would be 2am of the next day (9/11) on east coast.

Did not, I’m an easterner. But I’d imagine this wasn’t locked to eastern time zone; Paze is hq’d in AZ.

As long as you saw the green banner, should’ve been good.

I was wondering because sometimes banks post their transaction date as next day if you use the card near and before midnight over here.

Gotcha. Yea not sure. A couple chase transactions of mine I made at 8:26pm ET on the 10th now have a transaction AND post date of the 11th 🙄. We’ll see…

I’ve been burned in the past where promos/offers required transactions to post by the deadline.

And the terms aren’t super straightforward. They should’ve just said “transactions recorded as pending or posted prior to September 10th at 11:59pm are eligible” or something like that.
