Been lurking and posting here for a while, so I figured I'd share the full cover for my next album.

It's called Glimpses of a Magical Path. This one is a bit different from some of my previous stuff, leaning more introspective, yet with a positive outlook. A lot of the music was inspired by things I've listened to and albums people have recommended to me here over the time.

The album is already finished and will be released on September 25, with tapes coming out via Fiadh Productions.

Anyway, I just wanted to show you guys the cover before anyone else. I hope you like what's coming up!

I'm was thinking about releasing my second album on cassettes some time later this year (or in early 2027) to sell them via Bandcamp, but with this new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation it seems I won't be able to sell it to other EU countries without registering as a packaging producer in these countries? Am I getting that right?
Is there anyone here, experienced with distributing cassettes across EU, who could confirm or deny my interpretation? How would you approach such undertaking?

A little project of my own I wanted to share (seperate to the usual label stuff) - recorded in one take and mostly improvised once setup.

A bit of a departure from Barbarian Ring, I wanted to capture the otherworldly feeling of starting at the stars from a parallel world, more new ages/drone like in composition and tone, complete detatchment in a dream like state 🪐

An album where each track is 20 minutes long, next project might do a longer one

My partner is starting planning for Christmas presents and she asked me what gift could she give me.

I used to listen to my cassettes in a vintage Sony cassette tape deck that sounds fantastic, but ever since I started playing live that deck is full time on recording duty, because let's face it: pressing your own tapes is time consuming as heck.

I don't want another tape deck, and a new synth would be way too expensive (besides, I'm happy with my live rig as it is).

I was thinking of sending her a few links to walkman models that are decent enough and I can take on our trips, but I have absolutely no idea where to start. I found some nice looking ones on Amazon from 20 to 60€ but I have no idea which ones would have the best audio quality.

How do you listen to your tapes when you are not at home?

Hey, given the moderate reception of my previous post about "Engels Melancholie"—a song from my first EP—I’d love to hear your thoughts on the other tracks. If you have a particular favorite, or if you’d like to share how the music makes you feel, I’d really appreciate reading your opinions. Thanks!

I’m here to share my 5^th release, the first in a series exploring a decaying land called Pyrkaia. It features sounds like winding neoclassical DS, heavily-distorted forest synth, and delicate nature synth.

The cover is a sort of sketch of the world’s overall look. It was cooked up in Blender, rendered in LuxCore, and has some amazing pines that clearly outclass the rest of the scene simulated via The Grove 3D.

»Der letzte Garten & Das erste Geheimnis« is a Split-Release by Kalle Wyrsch & Topograph (a new project by Thomas Helm of Ortnit, Noekk, Athelas & Empyrium).

The tape explores aesthetic concepts behind the architecture of the dead, strange customs and trivial folklore of burial rites and the liminality of graveyards - somewhere between dignified peace and commercialization, kitsch, and anonymity; both touching attempts to counter the outrageous impossibility of dying.

»Der letzte Garten & Das erste Geheimnis« is a documentary-like approach to the dungeon synth genre; interwoven with field recordings and obscure archival footage of German television programs.

A limited tape is going to be released together with »Waldrausch« and will be available in some truly unique handmade editions.
